How you can drop the weight... and keep it offNov 29, 2022
So many people use weight loss as a barometer of where their health is.
We’re coming to a time of year when many people worry about putting on a few pounds over Christmas and the effect it has.
I’m sure you’ll be seeing many transformation pictures over the next few months demonstrating someone losing an incredible amount of weight.
What you don’t see in many of these transformation pictures is whether that person was able to sustain that weight drop.
So many people fluctuate with their weight as they use restriction as the key tool in getting to where they want to be.
But that can also drain people of energy and although, they might look how they want to, briefly, they feel like shit.
And do you know what happens? They fall off… and start putting the weight back on.
Getting control of how stressed you are is the key to preventing this from happening.
As a health coach, weight loss is clearly something I can help with, but I like to look at the stories of my clients before we get to work.
If you’re stressed already and you put your body into a calorie deficit then it’s going to fight against that.
When I work with clients, the first thing I look at is how their brain is functioning. We make sure that nothing is happening upstairs that could be providing a barrier to being the person you want to be.
We look at what has happened in your life that’s led you to this point in your health journey and why you want to make it better.
If we can work on lowering stress levels then you’ll not only be able to drop weight. Your relationships, your business, your overall health… everything in your life will improve immeasurably.
And the best part? You won’t fall off.
We create sustainable routines to optimise your health and get you to be the person you want to be.
